Meet the Staff

Pastor Nancy Block is a licensed minister with the Assembly of God.  God has gifted her with a unique ability to connect with people. Through Jesus Christ, Nancy has been ministering transformation and sanctification to hurting hearts for over 20 years. God has used her to teach women’s Bible studies and marriage classes and to establish cell groups. In 1995, God used Nancy’s ministry to birth the Oasis Ministry Center at Riverside.  She has taught Elijah House Video School since 2000.

Nancy and her husband, Steve, have been married for 40 years and have two grown children and 3 grandchildren.  They are members of Riverside Assembly of God in Hutchinson.  Nancy is on staff as the Counseling Pastor and Steve has been active as a Deacon and small group leader.

Hello! My name is Pat Yliniemi, and I am the Administrator of Oasis Ministry Center and co-facilitator for Elijah House School. I have been working at Riverside for 8 years, and I consider it an awesome privilege and a joy to minister here. I love to help and pray with people and watch as God does great things in their lives!

I am also a wife to one husband, mom to two grown children, and a grandma to three active grandsons. My family brings me great joy in life.
