Common Cup Benevolence

Common Cup ministry has been widely accepted in the community. It is funded by local churches, individuals and organizations and received a start-up grant form United Way. The mission of Common Cup is to gather and share spiritual and financial resources of area churches into one “Common Cup” so that we may minister to those in need. They reach out to those who need food, lodging, transportation, electricity, fuel, clothing, holiday vouchers, etc. They also provide spiritual ministry as well as emergency needs.

Christmas Dinner

This is an outreach to the community that we have been doing for the past five years. We invite anyone who does not have a home to go to for Christmas. We have had people both young and old come and join us for dinner. Last year we had a family come and eat because their house had burned down that night. This outreach touches many people in the community of Hutchinson.

Coat Collection

Riverside took part in helping Common Cup collected over 900 coats this past October.  They were given away in communities throughout McLeod County to those in in need.  A huge thank you to all who supported Common Cup Ministry by bring coats.
